The Staff
11 of our Consultants have been with Rand Personnel for an average of 15 years and our support staff have been with us for an average of 12 years.
Roger Horn
Following a decade in teaching and then a six-year spell in manufacturing, Roger entered the recruiting industry over thirty years ago and 3 years later started a one-man operation that was to become Rand Personnel. While attending to the day-to-day management of our organization, Roger, to this day, still consults for some of his long-standing clients, thereby enforcing a belief that management needs to be in touch at grass root level.
Our low staff turnover statistics have not come easily. In a very stressful, short-term industry, Rand Personnel has a group of people who love their work, look on it as a long-term professional career and have a good working relationship with Management and each other.
Wendy Horn
Unfortunately we are not able to pin down our co-partner for a photo shoot. With the company from its inception, this multi talented and competent individual is indispensable to the smooth running of our entire operation, from computer system crashes, networking problems, database tangles and keeping the essential systems in order.

Since joining Rand Personnel 19 years ago, Linda has moved away from technical placements in order to concentrate on the Construction Industry. She operates on all levels from Finishing Foremen to Site Agents and from QS to Contract Managers. Her speedy, dynamic approach to recruiting matches her personality. This has resulted in her quickly becoming a firm favourite with her clients. She enjoys her work and candidates and clients alike appreciate her enthusiasm and wit.
Craig Davidson
17 years ago, Craig joined Rand Personnel and has since built up extensive recruiting experience at Senior Professional and Technical level with particular emphasis on the Process and related industries. As a result of his methodical, ethical and calm approach to recruitment, Craig enjoys the respect of his Colleagues and Clients alike.
Our large team enables better “networking” which lends itself to team building.
Doug Hamilton
Also very experienced - 28 years in total and 17 years with Rand Personnel, Doug has become our Technical Sales Consultant and he has developed a wide range of experience and contacts in all aspects of Sales & Marketing. This 'canny' Scotsman has the 'uncanny' knack of flushing out the best Sales Engineers in the market.
Angela Mullen
One of our very experienced Consultants - 27 years in the Industry, 17 of them with Rand Personnel, Angela produces quality results and has built up an enviable pool of Senior Professional and Technical people, with an emphasis on Engineers and Management Candidates. Angela's Clients see her as a knowledgeable Consultant who does not know the meaning of a short cut.
The dynamics produced by a large team inevitably leads to success and therefore job satisfaction.
Felicity Hayden
This highly efficient personality joined Rand Personnel 13 years ago and her energetic, results driven style has ensured that many of her top Candidates are now placed with her ever growing list of Clients where they have become valued and respected employees. A Generalist, Felicity is equally adept at providing office staff as she is at placing technical and factory staff.
Karen Julie
The year 2001 marked a career change for this likable, helpful and committed consultant. After spending 10 years assisting in the logistics and operations division of her last company, Karen joined Rand Personnel and has shown over the last 7 years that she is a natural. Her attention to detail, her astute summing up of people and her love for her job make her a welcome addition to our team.
It is our policy to dedicate one Consultant to each Client.
It is our unshakable belief that once a Consultant has met a Client, identified his particular needs, built up trust, empathy and understanding, that cycle of rapport should never be broken.
Christina Dos Santos
A perfectionist, a professional and a Consultant who leaves nothing to chance. For the past 9 years this committed individual has serviced the special demands of the IT industry. Christina joined us 4 years ago with the aim of assisting our wide range of clients with any computer related vacancies that occur. Since then she has also built up a substantial number of clients in the freight industry. We know this skilful Consultant will continue to grow her client base.
Beth Brown
Beth is well known throughout Gauteng for the excellent service she has given to her loyal Gauteng clients over the past 21 years, and 4 years ago we were lucky enough to gain her services. She has made our team stronger, and she will add to the level of professionalism that we aspire to. Beth’s knowledge of manufacturing, and technical job specifications will ensure a long and compatible relationship with Rand Personnel.
Mary Mathurine
Her no-nonsense, direct approach is well suited to our industry. Mary has the ability to sum up her applicants and to quickly establish caliber and suitability. An accounts/office support background has played a big part in her success in placing administration staff and her excellent search abilities make her a key part of our team.
Manfred Stein
If his track record is anything to go by, Manfred will be with us for many years to come. He spent 40 years with his previous employer (retail industry) before joining Rand Personnel. He is ultra conscientious in the selection of applicants and his willingness to go the extra mile has endeared him to applicants and clients alike. Manfred counts service above all else and will never compromise on this belief.
The Engine Room
Finally, we come to the "Engine Room" of Rand Personnel. Between them, Margie, Robyn, and Elsie make up our indespensible Support Staff and have contributed 49 years of valuable service to our company. These are the people who process the huge amount of quality cv's sent out by Rand Personnel, answer the incredible volume of calls coming in on 30 lines and who generally see to the well being of 14 energetic and demanding consultants.
